One of the youngest competitors on the women's World Cup ski cross tour, Canada's Marielle Thompson has quickly established herself as one of the top SX racers in the world. One week after crashing while leading the women's 2012 X-Games final to falling out of contention Thompson claimed her first podium, winning on Canadian soil at Blue Mountain. A former Canadian and Nor-Am champion, Thompson seems destined to continue her winning ways at the World Cup level.
